Findings is a term that encompasses all those little metal items used as finishing components to beadwork.  Earwires, crimp beads, eye pins, metal cones, head pins, eye pins, necklace clasps including toggle clasps, etc.   Findings such as earwires are made of surgical steel, hypoallergenic, and coated with a gold or silver-tone finish.  Some of the various findings are made the same way as the earwires, while others are made of pewter or brass, depending on the item.  The finishes are listed as silver or gold tone and the finish does not rub off.
