Metallic Threads by YLI are sparkly metallic threads that are supple and smooth.  It is easy to thread on a needle and is available in 23 colors on 100 meter spools.  A 100 meters is approximately 109 yards.  This is also a product I use in my projects and can be purchased on my website.   All the colors are great ; my favorites being the variegated colors and combinations of the other colors, such as Jade Green and Pale Green together.  I use these metallic threads in combination with Jeans Stitch for many techniques and effects.  Fine Metallic threads can be used for all types of stitchery and embellishment.  I have even crocheted and made little bags entirely of these metallic threads, however, they look stunning along with Jeans Stitch and other fine threads.  Fine Metallics will enhance threads that are being braided, woven with beads and fibers on the loom, embroidery and between right angle weave and other beading that has open spaces for embellishment.  Although Fine Metallic threads are very soft, I have found them very strong when hand stitching and had no breakage experiences.  These metallic threads can also be used in sewing machines.  Fine Metallics can not be used alone for bead crochet or knitting thread because it will not hold the weight of beads unless they are size 20/0 or smaller.
