Info about Beadwrangler's Bead Shop

Glass beads are available in many sizes from very large to very small.  Small glass beads used to make complex structures with needles and threads are often called seed beads, when in fact many small beads are not seed beads.  Seed beads were the main bead used in the past and small beads became labeled as seed beads. Seed beads are usually round in shape and are only one type of small bead.

Round glass beads, also called druks, can serve many uses in your beadwork and come in a large variety of colors.  I use them extensively in my Beadwrangler kits as necklace closures and as separators in Vine Wave sections and Vine necklaces in  the Floral Treasures kit.  The are also used as flower components in the Floral Treasures kit such as floral bulbs on a stem or protruding from a flower with a small stopper bead on top.  These beads are also perfect as a components to earrings by setting one at the top and bead strands hanging from the glass bead.

At the Beadwrangler Mall you will find sizes 4mm, 6mm and 8mm with size 4mm being the smallest and 8mm being the largest.

String a group of round glass beads on Rainbow Elastic thread, fit it to your wrist, make a knot in the end, use FrayStop to the cut edges or stitch them down with beading thread and the bracelet is ready to wear.

I offer the round glass beads here for those of you that are going beyond the basic project in my kits and making the other optional items in the kit instruction booklets.
