Beadwrangler Wooden Storage Cases  They are handmade by an old world craftsman using Camphor Laurel wood.   When your case arrives, you will find a pleasant scent from the camphor laurel wood, which will dissipate after you open and close the case several times.  The needle, crochet and knitting cases are available in two styles, Colonial and Classic.  The Colonial has a shaped surface and the Classic has a smooth surface.  All the storage cases have the same width at the opening, 3/4" (2.0cm) wide.  Freestanding cases and non-standing cases are available for both crochet hooks and needles.  The knitting needle case is only available as non-standing.  Each case is absolutely beautiful and no two are exactly the same.

Freestanding Needle Case  The freestanding needle case is 5" (12.7cm) tall without the lid and 6" (15.3cm) long with the lid.  The freestanding needle case will hold standard size needles, thick tapestry needles and any needle that is no longer than 3 3/4" long.  The non-standing needle case is 6"(15.3cm) long.

The Non-Standing Needle Case  The non-standing needle case will hold needles up to 5" (12.7cm) long such as 5" weaving/stole needles, 5" soft sculpture needles and thick tapestry needles. 

Freestanding Crochet Case  The freestanding crochet case is 6 1/2" (16.5cm) tall without the lid and 7 5/8" (19.5cm) tall  including the lid.   The freestanding crochet case will hold one each sizes 00 through 16 steel crochet hooks plus 3 weaving/stole needles and three soft sculpture needles, or one each sizes B through K aluminum crochet hooks.   The lid will set a little higher when storing aluminum hooks.

Non-Standing Crochet Case  The non-standing crochet case is  8" (24.0cm) long.   The non-standing crochet case will hold the same combination of steel crochet hooks and needles as the freestanding case.  However, it will not hold the same amount of aluminum hooks.  The opening is just a tiny bit thinner than the 3/4"(2.0cm) thickness of the freestanding model.  This case will hold sizes B through J aluminum hooks.  There is no room for the K hook.

Knitting Needle Case  The knitting needle case is 10 1/2" (26.8cm)  long and will hold double pointed needles up to 9 1/4" (22.9cm) long.  The knitting case will hold five  0000, three 000, two 00, two 0,  two 2's, three 3's, two 5's, three 7's and two 8's.  You can select your own choice of needle combination.

This case is perfect tools for all your steel crochet hooks plus most of your aluminum crochet hooks.   The case opens up like a book, flat, and each hook sets under a stitched tab, in place, to easily identify which hook you want to use.  The case is a soft, lightweight vinyl, has a zipper and is easy to pack with your fiber supplies for travel.  The zipper closure keeps your hooks from getting loose.  If left loose, crochet hooks can easily work their way through the fabric in a purse and drop onto the floor, or maneuver out and stab you in the hip - ouch, the voice of experience.  Sizes 00 through 14 steel crochet hooks and E through N aluminum hooks will fit in the case.  I keep B, C and D aluminum hooks loose in the case.  You can always leave some of the steel hook sizes out if you do not use them often, and add the three aluminum hooks in their place.  When putting the smaller size hooks under the tabs, bring them in from the bottom of the tab and up.  This way you will not grab your hook on the lining and will open up the tab so it is easier the next time to put the hooks away.

Vinyl Crochet Hook Storage Case

This is a handy little case that will keep you from losing needles.  Sharps, beading, tapestry, embroidery, sewing any other type needle will set in place for the next time you need them.  Your twisted wire needles will no longer end out looking like pretzels, wrapped up in your long pile carpet, tangled in your pet's hair, or stuck in one of your  family's feet; speaking from experience here.  Each case side has a magnet base which holds all the needles in place.  Each time you finish using a needle, set it back down on the needle safe until you need it again.  Needle Safe is 4 1/2" (114cm) long by 2 1/4" (5.8cm) wide, and 5/8" (1.5cm) depth.  The needle safe will hold both short and long needles, including long twisted wire needles, 4" (10.2cm) size 0000 steel knitting needles and thick tapestry needles for weaving thick yarn.  I keep mine on my work table and close it when I am not using it.  It is great for travel too.  Do not put your needle safe near your computer or in close proximity of anyone wearing a pacemaker.  Keep this in mind for any item containing magnets.
